Which scene
Names are never sent to a server and never put in the address. They disappear when you close this page unless you tap save.
The same list and the same seed give the same result. If a parent or student asks, rerun it on this device to show it.
Using it in class
Presentation order
Paste the list, choose presentation order, and draw. The whole order appears at once, so you can copy it to the board.
If you redraw because you dislike a result, make the new seed visible to the class and start over.
Group split
Set the number of groups and the class is split evenly. Group sizes differ by at most one student.
Rerun with the same seed to show that the groups were not changed.
Pick one at a time
Use it to choose a presenter or helper. A student who was picked sits out the next draw, so nobody is picked twice in a row.
When everyone has been picked, the page says so and you can start over.
Where student names live
The list is computed only inside this page on your device. It is not sent to a server and not placed in the result address.
Save keeps it in this browser only. On a shared computer, skip saving. You can delete the saved list at any time.
